About me...

Feet in the sand, head in the wind, and the sun on your body. This is what a true break feels like for a MeerKaline like me...

But what do you do if you don't live by the sea? And is there only a place there that connects us with ourselves?

I often find this time out on my yoga mat, in conversation, and in nature. With my horses and on vacation—and sometimes even at the beach. I'd like to take you along and inspire you on my website. Perhaps what I share here is a thought, an image, or an idea—no matter what it is: I hope you find a place here where you can take a break.

I discovered yoga 15 years ago. Since then, it has accompanied me in all its facets and has never let go. It allows me to continually encounter new topics and interesting people.

And here's more about me. I am:

Podcast heroine, blogger, storm child, everyday navigator, nature lover, horse and dog mom, beach girl... or in short: MeerKaline.

On my homepage, you'll find all the information about my courses and coaching services. Here, in my podcast and blog, I share things, thoughts, and events that move or have moved me. You'll also learn about yoga and yoga philosophy there. I share links to websites of people and teachers who have inspired me (and no, I don't get paid for this), and for participants in my courses and workshops, there's a media library with exercise videos and additional materials. And I'll keep you updated on all the fantastic news this year and keep you up to date on current developments.

I hope you enjoy my website and my offerings as much as I do, and that you'll embark on an exciting journey of discovery. So let's go...

Yoga with Finya

Since 2023, Finya has been accompanying me to my yoga classes and workshops.

Finya is a small, friendly, and very outgoing Welsh Springer Spaniel. She's envisioned for training as a therapy dog. This will enable her to support me and my participants and clients in coaching sessions, interventions, and group settings.

In the yoga room, Finya stays in her crate and relaxes with us. So if you're afraid of dogs, that's no problem—she doesn't roam freely around the room.

If you have any fears, allergies, questions, or concerns, please feel free to discuss them with me when booking your appointment.

My favorite quote

"If someone seeks enlightenment in the remote gong- and yeti-haunted valleys not far from the Discworld center, the first words they read are in The Life of the Ever-Surprised Wen.

And the reader's first question is: "Why was he always surprised?"

And then he learns:

"Wen reflected on the nature of time and realized that the universe is being recreated moment by moment. Therefore, he realized, there is truly no past, only the memory of it. You blink, and the world you see afterward did not exist when your eyes were closed.

Therefore, Wen concluded, there can be only one appropriate state for consciousness: surprise. And the only appropriate state for the heart is joy.

The sky you see now has never been seen before.

The perfect moment is now. Be glad about it!

(Terry Pratchett, The Thief of Time)
